Baroque in Bavaria and Bohemia

How do you bring the Baroque spirit of Bavaria and Bohemia into a modern exhibition hall? By letting the Baroque forms dictate the exhibition route. Based on circles and spirals, the route through the five themes of the exhibition follows a chronological sequence through the Baroque era. Each theme is defined by a colour and the furniture is designed in such a way that the exhibition can subsequently be shown at the second location, the National Museum in Prague, without major alterations. But the Baroque period also sets the tone above the visitors' heads: Huge ceiling frescoes and seemingly free-flying putti hover above the exhibition!
